In 1990, a group of hospital CFOs recognized a shortage in the supply of qualified, quality interim healthcare business office and finance resources. Forming Advanced Bottom Line Management was easy. Finding and keeping the best consultants was a little more challenging.

Using their knowledge as hospital CFOs, and recognizing the qualities they look for in a consultant, they developed a recruitment system more thorough than any in the industry. It all starts with taking advantage of their networks in the close-knit healthcare community.

  • Find candidates based only on referrals and proven success. These candidates must have one or two glowing reviews just to get in the door.
  • Candidates must have ten-plus years of experience, or be financially gifted – or both.
  • Candidates must have a personality for consultant work – thrive on change, love helping people and possess cat-like reflexes.

Finally, to ensure seamless integration and maximum effectiveness on every assignment, they created a core team of veteran consultants to act as project managers.

The system is working. ABLM has placed staff at over 200 hospitals nationwide and, in most cases, our consultants work out so well, hospitals want to bring them on full time.
